Daily Excursion To Meteora

Our excursion starts around 08:00 am and we'll drive you through the new national
road to the Tomb of Thermopylae with the statue of the Spartan King Leonidas
erected across the Kolonos hill in the 1950s with Greek American immigrants
funds.
Next stop will be the Meteora where the largest (second to mountain Athos) Monastery compound -built on high and steep rocks- is situated.
We can have our meal in one of the taverns and restaurants in Kalampaka before our depart to Athens.
